Syria crisis: Commentators react to Cameron defeat

“The prospective missile attack on Syria is not a foreign policy moment on a par with the Suez war in 1956, the Norway debate of 1940 or Chanak in 1922, all of which led to the fall of 20th Century prime ministers,” it says, in an editorial

Hmm, not on a par with the Suez war in 1956?

I suppose that would depend on if the action the US and Britain would have taken led to another “U.S.A.” in the world having to bailout the US and Britain, as their resources dried up in one-war-too-many, or not.

The US was able to bailout England and France, in 1956, but would China or the Arab States be able to bailout the US and Britain in 2016, if, for some reason, they, like England and France , ran out of their endless supply of funds?
