In Oregon, frustration over federal land rights has been building for years

“The frustration of the people built up to cause this,” Soper said. “It’s really no different than the Occupy Movement or a sit-in at a college.”

But there is a difference. The Occupy Movement and a sit-in at a college is a push against corporations–the Militias are playing into the means of corporal power, the privatization of government.

I think everyone knows who will profit from this privatization of our resources. Large multi-national corporations will end up owning everything. After the dust settles, like beer companies, there will be 3 to 5 large corporations owning everything.

Forget about “micro-brewer” when it comes to cattle. Land in the Northwest is all about access, and once the large corporation controls that access, as bad it is now, you can forget about the hunter who doesn’t want to pay for the privilege of hunting on “our” land.
